I am a book rereader. I know that it's weird, but I like nothing better than pulling a favorite out of the bookshelf for a second (or 50th) go around.
It makes shopping for new books quite daunting, fear of the unknown and all.
So you can imagine my trepidation when I found myself standing in front of the Big Book Sale (largest book sale on the West Coast).
The books were in no particular order, but grouped by category making it almost impossible to find anything specific. I began with Fiction, of course gravitating towards novels bound in pink, and started filling my basket. Naturally all of my favorite titles jumped out at me (squealing "reread me"), and I resisted the urge to purchase another copy of Bergdorf Blondes (what? the binding is falling apart on my copy).
look at all of those books!
I stayed until my eyes glazed over and my basket was too heavy to carry, then staggered the three miles (go me) back to the train. Look at all my new books!
Hopefully a couple of these will be worth a reread or two.
Also,
If you come and visit me I will show you the sights....
