Green Bench

In my former life I was a bit of an impulse shopper.

In my new life, I am gardener extraordinaire.

I have found that gardening does not provide the same instant gratification that some activities might.
I catch myself out in the backyard several times each day, peering over the rows of carefully planted greens, hoping to see an onion or head of lettuce.

Luckily Paul and I found a treasure at the end of our driveway on Saturday. A green bench. Just waiting for us!

(if you look closely you can see the Jasmine bushes against the back fence)
So now I can idle away my time, sitting on the bench, waiting to harvest the first crops.
Perhaps Paul would be so kind as to smuggle some veggies home from the farmers market and hide them  amongst the foliage for me to discover.
