Riverside Equestrian Center

I drive through fields of grapes on the long and twisty road that leads out to Riverside Equestrian Center. Located just inside of Sonoma and thirty miles from Napa, that should not be surprising.

Located on 70 acres of rolling, green hills as far as the eye can see- it's the largest equestrian facility in Northern California.
I took my "test drive" up to the barn for my usual Tuesday lesson with butterflies in my stomach. Not because I was excited, but because I was afraid I'd get stuck in highway traffic. The roads were smooth and clear and I arrived in less time than the Fairfax traffic had taken.
It was so peaceful and quiet. And green. There are rabbits with really large ears. Jackrabbits maybe?
