Oh Happy Day

I may or may not have mentioned that I've been dealing with horrific lower back pain for the past 37 days. 
Good news from Physical Therapy. My first appointment today and I met Jim. I love Jim. He's well spoken, calm, and exudes an air of confidence. And is clean.
I was fairly certain my Chiropractor (who I've been seeing 3 times a week for the past 37 days) wore the same clothes multiple days in a row. Not inspiring confidence. Not someone who can fix me up. Also- weird hats in the office.

Anyway. Turns out that my back is fabulous. 
It's my BUTT. Yup. Zee fanny. 
So basically butt muscles cross over the lower part of the back. Additionally the quads attach to the front of the hips. Both are all scrunched up and inflamed, causing my back to stretch in weird ways and my hips to fall forward. 
Solution: PT once a week, STRETCH (hatehatehate), and get massages. Oh lala. 
Paul thinks I should dust off my yoga mat. But I say "no thanks" to downward dog and all that business. Kickboxing sounds like more fun!
