Lake Merritt

There's a lake in the middle of Oakland. Who knew? And a lovely 3 mile walking (running if you're feeling gutsy) path circling Lake Merritt. The rain held despite ever threatening clouds (luckily....once on the other side of that sucker there's no easy way to get back). We saw all manner of dogs-people-babies- even our regular Peet's barista!

Paul swears he saw a turtle swim up and bite a duck. Hmmmmm.
