For those in the know...

Wine is not just found in Napa or Sonoma. We stopped in Healdsburg, which is on the cusp of Dry Creek Valley, to pick up supplies on the way to Lake Sonoma- i.e. the Backpack Adventure. 

Outdoor lunch of sammies- fancy cheese, salami, and cookies to go at the Oakville Grocery.

 A stroll around Healdsburg downtown....

and wine at the La Crema (yum yum yum) tasting room. 

 Snacks packed- we hit the road passing the wineries-  and on to the adventure!
