What is Bronchitis

What is bronchitis?
Bronchitis means that the tubes that carry air to the lungs (the bronchial tubes) are inflamed and irritated. When this happens, the tubes swell and produce mucus. This makes you cough.
I was very lucky to see a wonderful doctor today who prescribed cough medicine with codeine (yay), antibiotics, and two, yes two, types of inhalers. I should be good as new by early next week.
And I should probably print a retraction. Paul has been a wonderful caretaker. I don't know what caused this metamorphosis, perhaps he was afraid I would lick him and pass along the infection, but he has just been super. Go Paul. Nurse Paul!
