Our hotel in London was in Chelsea so we left Heathrow by "tube" to drop our bags and explore!
Nicole was the ultimate hostess- she took us to all the popular sites but didn't actually make us go into any of them! We visited Westminster Abby, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Winston Churhill's War Rooms (which we did actually go in and tour).
A few pub stops later and a trip to a diner for dinner I ended my evening with a rather unpleasant case of food poisoning. Despite our best planning efforts to fall into an European sleep pattern, I still managed to stay up most of the night.
